"Oops!" Santa chuckled, brushing off a cloud of glitter. "I didn’t mean to drop in like that, Oliver!" He gave him a playful wink. "But I really need your help—someone’s stolen my giggle dust! And without it, my sleigh can’t fly. No giggle dust, no Christmas! Total disaster!"
He leaned in, his voice lowering dramatically, "Will you help me get it back?" As he spoke, Santa handed Oliver a glowing, giggling map.

"Welcome to your magical Christmas neighbourhood, Oliver!" Santa said, his voice warm and full of cheer. "Now, let’s follow that giggling map and see where the adventure takes us!"
The giggling map led them to the most colourful house on the street. It was Zeke’s house, Oliver’s mischievous neighbour who welcomed them with a huge grin on his face. His pet parrot, Tinsel, perched on his hand squawking 'Glitter blast! Glitter blast!'
'Zeke, we know you have the giggle dust! You need to give it back!'
Zeke’s eyes twinkled mischievously. "I borrowed the giggle dust for my Christmas inventions. But I might give it back... only if you can complete my silliest challenge yet!"
Oliver couldn’t help but burst into laughter at the sight of Zeke’s glitter snowball launcher, which was already sputtering glitter everywhere.
'Okay, Zeke,' Oliver said, 'Challenge accepted!'
'This is going to be fun,' Santa whispered to Bella, who barked in agreement.
"To get your giggle dust back, you’ll have to conquer the giant candy cane maze! But be warned—it won’t be easy!" said Zeke.
The candy cane maze was a twisty, turny labyrinth, with candy canes taller than the trees. The air was sweet with the smell of mint. "Keep your eyes peeled for clues," Oliver said as they entered the maze.
Deep into the labyrinth, they came upon a giant Christmas tree - the strangest one Oliver had ever seen. "To pass, you must solve my riddle!" the tree boomed, its lights twinkling merrily.
"What falls but never lands, and the sun makes them sparkle and then disappear?" the tree asked with a wink. Oliver answered confidently "Snowflakes!". The tree's ornaments jingled merrily, and it let out a jolly carol as the path opened up before them, leading them deeper into the maze.
At the end of the candy cane maze, a hidden door creaked open, revealing Zeke’s secret workshop. A cluttered, chaotic space filled with half-finished gadgets and glitter everywhere. Suddenly, a swarm of glittery snowballs rolled out, forming a noisy snowball army!
"We have to outwit them!" Oliver shouted, grabbing a giant Christmas cookie as a shield. He held it up, blocking the glittery snowballs as they pelted toward him, crumbs flying everywhere. Santa picked up a random box that turned out to be a confetti cannon. Bella leaped into the air, caught a snowball and spit it out, and that sent Oliver and Santa into fits of laughter.
After dodging the snowball army, Oliver finally stood face-to-face with Zeke. He crossed his arms and gave him a determined look. "Now, hand over the giggle dust, Zeke!"
Zeke’s mischievous grin faded, and he stared down at his shoes, shuffling his feet. "I just… I just wanted to make Christmas more fun," he mumbled. "I wanted everyone to see my inventions, but I didn’t mean to cause all this trouble."
Oliver softened, giving Zeke a kind smile. "Christmas is already so much fun, Zeke," he said gently, "but it’s even better when we share it with others." Zeke’s eyes lit up. "You’re right!" he exclaimed, perking up. "Let’s use my inventions to make this the best Christmas ever!"
