For the purpose of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), the data controller is CUKIBO Limited (trading as CUKIBO AG), located at Feldstrasse 16, Lachen 8853, Switzerland. CUKIBO collects, processes, and uses your personal data for the establishment, implementation, modification, or termination of the license agreement concluded between CUKIBO and you, the processing of orders, the use of the website, as well as the content of the offer. When you participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our Website, enter a competition, promotion, or survey. You report a problem with our Website, or when you download a coloring book or other freebies offered by us or sign up for a newsletter, you provide information such as the name, username, and e-mail address used for the purpose of using the offer. You can look over an offer or order-related information, such as delivery status, news, and useful information. Non-personal data and personal data may be combined with data collected from other sources so that we may further improve the relevance of products, services, and advertisements offered on or through this site.

5. Newsletter and E-mails

When registering for the newsletter, CUKIBO will use your e-mail address for advertising until you unsubscribe. The following consent has been expressly granted to CUKIBO, and CUKIBO has logged these. Your e-mail address will not be shared with third parties, and you may revoke your consent to use your e-mail address for promotional purposes at any time with future effect. The newsletter can be de-registered at any time either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a dedicated link in the newsletter.

The e-mails we send to you fall into two categories:

1. “Marketing Messages” - e-mails that provide you with information about offers, new products, and other items that we think may interest you or CUKIBO customers generally. You will only receive these e-mails if you actively sign up for our newsletter and then confirm that subscription via an opt-in confirmation. 

2. "Service Messages" - e-mails that we may send concerning activity on your CUKIBO account, specifically: 

a) To remind you of unordered items in your online basket

b) To remind you of product creations that you have abandoned

c) Surveys to capture your feedback on orders you have placed with CUKIBO

d) Surveys to capture your feedback on contact with our customer service team

While we do our best to act on your preferences as soon as we can, please keep in mind that it may take up to 14 days for changes to your preferences concerning Service Messages to take effect.

Please note that e-mails that we need to send you relating directly to your orders and purchases from CUKIBO (such as order and dispatch confirmation e-mails) and e-mails that notify you of changes to our Terms of Use or to policies we apply under our Terms of Use, are unaffected by your preferences for newsletters and Service Messages; you cannot opt-out of receiving these e-mails.

We may also use data held about you for another purpose, but only where it is communicated to you at the data collection point.

6. Invitation-to-review

To improve our products and services, we may ask our customers to leave a review about the services and products they have purchased, downloaded, or otherwise acquired. If you have purchased, downloaded, or in any other way obtained CUKIBO products or services, we may use your contact data you have previously provided to us, such as name and e-mail address, to invite you to leave a review of our products and services on different consumer review platforms, such as Google, Meta or Trustpilot review platform. We process personal data collected according to this Section on a contractual legal basis as necessary for the performance of a contract concluded between you and us. We may share your contact data with relevant consumer review platforms for the purposes set forth herein; however, it is only in accordance with Section 8  of this Policy. Please note that by accessing a consumer review platform, you enter a third-party website that may use your personal data for its own purposes subject to their privacy policies as published and/or made accessible on their websites.

7. Customer Service

To answer your questions, process your questions or resolve them, it is sometimes necessary to ask for personal data such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. CUKIBO can use this information to answer your questions or to contact you by mail, e-mail, or phone. If you request a service or upload data to this site, CUKIBO may need to get in touch with you to get more information needed to process or execute your request. However, CUKIBO won't share this information with third parties without your permission, except as required by law or to the extent necessary for the execution and processing of your requests or for your assistance.

8. Protection of Data and Disclosure to Third Parties

Information that we collect is stored on secure servers using standard security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information in an effort to protect information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. CUKIBO transmits the personal data encrypted over the Internet using the so-called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) method. However, providing personal data, whether in person, over the phone, or over the Internet, always entails risks, and no technological system is completely unaffected by manipulation or sabotage. CUKIBO makes reasonable efforts to prevent and minimize the risk of unauthorized access to and the unauthorized use or corruption of personal data.

In principle, CUKIBO will not disclose personal data to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to pass it on or if a data transfer is required to carry out the contractual relationship. In this respect, the information you provided for the purposes mentioned above, and to the extent necessary for the processing of your order or request, is exchanged with affiliate/partner companies. This is especially the case for printing and delivery. The amount of data transmitted is reduced to the minimum required. We take great care in choosing our partners to include only those with robust privacy policies and who are respected as market leaders in their field.

CUKIBO may also make appropriate written statements, duplicate records against loss, create intermediate files or workspaces, and give such powers to third parties if necessary.

We do not collect your financial information! This is collected and stored by third-party payment processors.

CUKIBO will otherwise only forward personal and/or billing-related data to other third parties to the extent required or required by law to enforce the Terms of Use and/or other agreements with you and to protect the rights of third parties. We will consider your concerns in accordance with the statutory provisions. The data will only be made available if a legitimate interest in it has been credibly demonstrated or to protect the safety or rights (including intellectual property rights) of CUKIBO, our customers, consumers, or the general public.

Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Incorporated, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (collectively, Google), collects and stores data that is used to create usage profiles using aliases. These usage profiles are used to analyze visitor behavior and are evaluated to improve and tailor the offer. The Google Analytics tracking code implemented on this site has been enhanced with Remarketing for Google Display Advertising, a service that analyses user behavior across the Google Display Network. Hereby, cookies (e.g., Google AdWords cookie) document your previous visits to third-party websites whose providers have joined the Google Display Network and our website. 13. Conversion Measurement with the Facebook Pixel

With your consent, we use the "visitor action pixel" of Facebook Inc. 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") on our website. In this way, users' behaviors can be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This process is designed to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and may help to optimize future advertising efforts. The data collected are anonymous to us and, as such, do not provide us with any conclusions about the identity of the users. 15. Integration of Third Party Content

This website includes content from the YouTube service. These features are offered through YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066 USA. The videos were included and embedded in the extended data protection mode. Like most websites, however, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses it to capture video statistics, prevent fraud, and improve usability. This also leads to a connection with the Google Double Click network. Starting the video could trigger more data processing. We have no influence on that. Places where your data is stored or communicated to:

CUKIBO transfers, processes, and stores information about our users on servers located in a couple of other countries. Information collected within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and Switzerland is always stored with us and our partners within EEA and Switzerland only. CUKIBO may also subcontract processing to or share your information with third parties in countries other than your home country. Your personal information may, therefore, be subject to privacy laws different from those in your country of residence. By submitting your data, you agree to this transfer, storing, or processing. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and per this privacy policy.

However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive.
