2. Personal Data
Personal data is information that specifically identifies you or, when combined with other information we have, can be used to identify you. We collect information that personally identifies you (personal data) only if you choose to share such information with us. Personal data consists of inventory data and usage data. Usage data is specifically the characteristics for the identification of your person, information about the commencement and conclusion of, as well as the extent of, the use of the website. In addition, we may need to contact you via phone, e-mail or mail to address questions or issues specific to your order, entry, etc., even if you have opted to not receive marketing communications from us.
3. Non-Personal Data
We automatically collect information that does not reflect or reference an individually identifiable user (non-personal data) to help us understand how our users use our site. Like most websites, we automatically collect and use the following data contained in log files:
- Technical Information, which may include certain information or characteristics about your computer, such as the type of browser and operating system you use and your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address. For the most part, technical information remains anonymous (that is, it does not identify you personally), but in some cases, it can be traced back to personal data such as an e-mail address.
- Usage information, which may include non-personal data about how you use or browse our site and what products you buy (order history).
4. Collection, Processing, Use of Personal Data
CUKIBO collects, processes, and uses your personal data for the establishment, implementation, modification, or termination of the license agreement concluded between CUKIBO and you, the processing of orders, for the use of the website, as well as for the content of the offer. 5. Newsletter and E-mails
When registering for the newsletter, CUKIBO will use your e-mail address for advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The following consent has been expressly granted to CUKIBO, and CUKIBO has logged these. The deregistration of the newsletter can be done at any time either by a message to the contact option described below or via a dedicated link in the newsletter.
The e-mails we send to you fall into two categories:
-
“Marketing Messages” - e-mails that provide you with information about offers, new products, and other items that we think may interest you or CUKIBO customers generally. You will only receive these e-mails if you actively sign up for our newsletter and then confirm that subscription via an opt-in confirmation.
-
"Service Messages" - e-mails that we may send concerning activity on your CUKIBO account, specifically:
a) To remind you of unordered items in your online basket
b) To remind you of product creations that you have abandoned
c) Surveys to capture your feedback on orders you have placed with CUKIBO
d) Surveys to capture your feedback on contact with our customer service team
While we do our best to act on your preferences as soon as we reasonably can, please be aware that it may take up to 14 days for changes to your preferences concerning Service Messages to take effect.
Please note that e-mails that we need to send you relating directly to your orders and purchases from CUKIBO (such as order and dispatch confirmation e-mails), and e-mails which notify you of changes to our Terms of Use, or to policies we apply under our Terms of Use, are unaffected by your preferences for newsletters and Service Messages; you cannot opt-out of receiving these e-mails.
We may also use data held about you for another purpose, but only where such purpose is communicated to you at the point of data collection.
6. Invitation-to-review

In all other cases we will not sell or rent personal data to third parties, and we will not otherwise disclose personal data to third parties, without your express permission or as expressly disclosed in this Policy.

Hereby, cookies (e.g. Google AdWords cookie) document your previous visits to third-party websites whose providers have joined the Google Display Network and our website. Our AdWords ads use these analytics to serve as search queries on Google Network sites, and can be more targeted, optimised, and promoted through ad settings. Through the analysis of third-party cookies (e.g., AdWords cookies), we are able to better tailor our online advertising campaigns to you and your interests. In particular, Google will use this information to provide display advertising features such as remarketing, Google Display Network impressions reports, or Google Analytics demographics and interest reports. 19. Data Retention
We will only retain personal data for as long as it serves the purpose for which it was collected. This includes but is not limited to legal compliance, record keeping, and reporting.

21. Your Rights
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under GDPR in relation to your personal data.
You have the right to:
Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
Request the erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it, for example, where you consider that we do not need it any longer for the purposes for which we originally collected it as explained to you in this Privacy Policy, where you have withdrawn your consent to our using it and we had relied on that consent according to this Policy, where you consider that we cannot show a ‘legitimate interest’ in continuing to process it and we have relied on that legitimate interest to process it as explained to you in this Policy . You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
Object to the processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party), and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to the processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms.
Request restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it; (c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.
Request the transfer of your personal data to you or to a third party. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information that you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.
Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent.
You have a number of rights with regard to the personal data that we hold about you and you can contact us with regard to the following rights in relation to your personal data:
• You have the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• You have the right to correct the personal data we hold about you.
• Where applicable, you may also have the right to receive a machine-readable copy of your personal data.
• You also have the right to ask us to delete your personal data or restrict how it is used. There may be exceptions to the right to erasure for specific legal reasons, which, if applicable, we will set out for you in response to your request.
• Where applicable, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
• Where you have provided us with consent to use your personal data, you can withdraw this at any time.
If you would like to exercise any of your rights specified above, please e-mail legal@cukibo.com. We will deal with requests within one month.
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity. If your request is complicated or if you have made a large number of requests, it may take us longer. We will let you know if we need longer than one month to respond. You will not have to pay a fee to obtain a copy of your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive.
